6 Ways For Busy Moms To Make More Time For God


Do you ever feel like there is not enough time in a day to get everything done, let alone be able to make more time for Bible Study? You might be feeling so overwhelmed with everything that you have to juggle during the day. Mother’s are constantly busy, and that is why in this article we will talk about 6 ways for the”busy mom” to be able to still prioritize her faith. We have to learn how to adapt as mothers, and our faith is included in that. We have to learn how to prioritize God, while also taking care of all of our responsibilities. So if you find yourself feeling overwhelmed with all of the tasks, then read on for a few starter ideas for making more time for God!


  1. Pray First Thing In The Morning

    • Psalm 5:3 - “O Lord, in the morning you hear my voice; in the morning I prepare a sacrifice for you and watch”

  2. Memorize Scripture And Dwell On Them Throughout The Day

    • Psalm 119:11 - “I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.”

  3. Pray While Doing Tasks

    • 1 Thessalonians 5:17 - “pray without ceasing,”

  4. Listen To the Bible While In The Car

    • Romans 10:17 - “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.”

  5. Wake Up Early Or Stay Up Late To Spend Time In God’s Word - Prioritize Him

    • 2 Timothy 2:15 - “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.”

  6. Write Out Your Daily Blessings

    • 1 Thessalonians 5:18 - “give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

So today, if you find yourself busy in life, then I hope you take a few minutes and think about how you can make more time for God during the day. We all have to get creative sometimes with how we make more time because the worldly priorities still remain, but we MUST make more time for God. When we make no time for Him, then He isn’t a top priority for us. We as Christians are commanded to make Him the most important, so we must start by learning to make time for Him. We must learn to love God more, and by doing that then we will WANT to make more time for Him. Do we love God enough to make more time for Him?
