10 Ways To Apply Your Bible Study Into Your Daily Life


The Bible isn’t just a book; it’s a blueprint for us to take and learn to apply in our day-to-day lives. God never intended for us to only use His Word on Sunday mornings. He wants us to dive into the Bible and learned to apply what it says in our daily lives. We shouldn’t only be turning to it during the hard moments of life. It’s a beautiful love story that teaches us how to live in a Heavenly way while on the earth. So if you find yourself feeling like it is hard to actually take what you are learning and apply it in your life, then continue on for some easy starter ideas.


  1. Be In God’s Word Daily

    • Psalm 119:105 - “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”

  2. Pray For What You Learned From The Study

    • James 1:5 - “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.”

  3. Journal About What You Have Learned

    • 2 Timothy 3:16-17 - “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”

  4. Set Daily Goals From What You Learned

    • 1 Corinthians 10:31 - “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”

  5. Put Up Post-It Notes Around Your House To Remind Yourself Of The Goals You Set

    • James 1:22 - “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.”

  6. Replace Worldly Music With Hymns (Keep Your Focus Upward)

    • Colossians 3:16 - “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.”

  7. Schedule Time Separate From Bible Study To Actually Apply The Scripture (Volunteer Time Or Taking a Meal)

    • Mark 10:45 - “For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

  8. Write Scripture On Your Heart

    • Psalm 119:11 - “I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.”

  9. Be Thinking Of God More Than The World

    • Psalm 105:4 - “Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually!”

  10. Retrain Your Actions - Be Different From The World

    • Romans 12:2 - “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
