10 Things To Pray For Your Fellow Believers


Prayer is always needed! Everyone in life right now seems to have their plates full of struggles. The Church prayer request list have seemed ever growing recently. Besides praying for the daily prayer requests of other, do we give much thought for praying over the faith of all of our fellow believers in Christ? What would happen if we prayed for our fellow Christians daily? Don’t you think that God would work in absolutely amazing ways in their lives?!! Life is tough, so we need to help cover each other in prayers to keep on going. So if you want to get some ideas for what you should be praying for, for your fellow believers, then here are a few starter ideas for you!


  • To Seek God First

    • Matthew 6:33 - “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”

  • To Have The Strength To Endure

    • Isaiah 40:31 - “but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”

  • To Not Have A Lukewarm Faith

    • Revelation 3:15-16 - ““ ‘I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth.”

  • To Have A Heart To Serve Others

    • Galatians 5:13 - “For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.”

  • To Be Devoted To Bible Study

    • 2 Timothy 3:16-17 - “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”

  • To Encourage Others Daily

    • 1 Thessalonians 5:11 - “Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.”

  • To Grow Spiritually

    • Colossians 1:9-14 - “And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; being strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy; giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.”

  • To Be Devoted To Prayer

    • 1 Thessalonians 5:17 - “pray without ceasing,”

  • To Have Spiritual Joy

    • John 15:11 - “These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.”

  • To Share The Good News!!

    • Mark 16:15-16 - “And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.”


Conclusion:

So today, will you take the time to pray for your fellow believers in Christ? Will you pray for their relationships to always be growing? God knows that we need a support system in life, and there is no better feeling than knowing that others are praying for you! So will you pray for Christ’s Church body today?
