8 Lies From The Devil
Some of the devils sneakiest tricks are making us believe the lies he has put in the world. Sometimes the lies he started are so subtle that we don’t even recognize them at first. There are so many of the devils lies in the world today. This week we will be looking at 8 of the lies that the devil has lead us to believe, then we will see what the Bible has to say about it instead.
God Doesn’t Love You
John 3:16 - “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
Your Past Defines You
2 Corinthians 5:17 - “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”
You Are Alone
Hebrews 13:5 - “Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
You Are A Failure
Philippians 4:13 - “I can do all things through him who strengthens me.”
You Are Not Good Enough
Romans 8:38-39 - “For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
You Need To Impress Others
Romans 12:2 - “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
Money And Possessions Bring You Fulfillment
Matthew 6:19 - ““Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal,”
God Doesn’t Listen To My Prayers
Psalm 145:18 - “The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.”
Conclusion:
So today, will you let any of these lies from the devil trick you into falling deeper into his trap? We must solely rely on the Words of God, instead of the whispers of the world. Will you cast aside these lies today?
