8 Things Christian’s Can’t Forget To Do Each Day
“What was I supposed to remember to add to my shopping list?” This is a phrase that I often ask myself once I finally get to the store. There is always something that I forget to grab or add to my shopping list. For some of us, it's easier to forget things than it is for others. But what about the things that truly matter? Do we forget the things that bring us closer to God? It is so easy to get caught up in the busyness from day-to-day, but we mustn’t forget to prioritize our Spiritual health first. So that is why today we are covering 8 of the things that we shouldn’t forget to do each day as a follower of Christ.
Be Kind
Ephesians 4:31-32 - “Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.”
Be Patient
James 5:7 - “Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and the late rains.”
Be In God’s Word
2 Timothy 3:16-17 - “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”
Be A Servant
Matthew 20:26 - “It shall not be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant,”
Be Forgiving
Matthew 6:12 - “and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.”
Be An Evangelist
Matthew 28:19-20 - “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Be Loving
Mark 12:31 - “The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”
Be Humble
Philippians 2:3 - “Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.”
Conclusion:
So today, let’s not forget to prioritize the important things in life. We can either get caught up in the busyness, or we can purposefully make time. We must leave time for our walk with God and for bringing others to Christ. Will we leave time for God today?
