In a world that is filled with chaos and uncertainty, it can often feel like peace is an unreachable fairytale. Life is tough!! There are so many people going through difficult situations, that lead them feeling hopeless. As Christians, even during our darkest storms we can still find peace. With God as our source of peace, we can face any storm with hope. That is why in this article we will be cover 7 of the reasons to have peace during the storms of life BECAUSE of our relationships with God.
We Know That Chaos And Pain Is Only Temporary
2 Corinthians 4:17-18 - “For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.”
We Remember That God Loves Us Unconditionally
Romans 8:38-39 - “For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
We Have A Future Home
2 Corinthians 5:1 - “For we know that if the tent that is our earthly home is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.”
We Know There Is Power In Prayers
Psalm 55:22 - “Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.”
We Realize That Trails Lead To Spiritual Growth
James 1:2-3 - “Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.”
We Know That There Is Support Found In Fellow Believers
1 Thessalonians 5:11 - “Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.”
We Can Be Thankful To God Even Through The Trials Because Of His Sovereignty
Romans 8:28 - “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”

Remember that peace is not the absence of problems. Peace is found in the presence of God. So, even if your life seems to be in the middle of a dark storm, will you look towards God? God is our hope even when life feels lonely and uncertain. So today, as you navigate the trials of life, be unwavering in your faith and love towards our wonderful Creator!
